On 9 January 2026, in Sector Valle Verde, Guaynabo, in the early morning, two armed men onboard of scooter motorcycles shot and killed a young man riding a motorcycle along the PR-1 road and in front of the Jesus Obrero Cooperative (drive-by). The attackers fled the scene with the victim's vehicle, although the motivation for the attack remains unknown. 1 fatality.
