On 9 January 2026, in Feira de Santana (Bahia), suspected drug traffickers exchanged fire with unidentified armed men in the Conjunto Feira X neighbourhood. The gang members ambushed the men, who were committing thefts in the region, and fired against them. An armed clash took place and a teenaged boy was shot and killed. A second man was injured. The suspects escaped. 1 fatality.
