On 8 January 2026, in Tramandai (Rio Grande do Sul), two armed men on a motorcycle killed a man outside a commercial establishment in a drive-by shooting in the Parque dos Presidentes neighborhood. Following the attack, police arrested two suspects and seized the motorcycle and a 9mm pistol suspected to have been used in the killing. The victim had prior criminal records, including drug possession. The motive for the killing remained unclear. 1 fatality.
