Around 8 January 2026 (as reported), in rural areas of Samaniego municipality (Narino), suspected members of the AUN and the Franco Benavides FARC dissident front clashed, resulting in at least 3 unidentified fatalities. The bodies were found in nearby sectors known as El Bermejal, Bolivar, and Limon. It is unknown to which of the two groups they belonged. At least 3 fatalities.
