On 8 January 2026, in Barranquilla (Atlantico), two unidentified armed assailants on a motorcycle shot and killed a barber who was on his way to a work appointment, in a drive-by shooting at the intersection of Carrera 84 and Calle 106. The victim was suspected of selling drugs in the area for the Gulf Clan, but this was not yet officially confirmed. The killing may be linked to drug-trafficking disputes between the Gulf Clan and Los Costenos gang. 1 fatality.
