On 8 January 2026, in Presidente Epitacio (Sao Paulo), an unidentified armed man shot and injured a drug trafficker in the Jardim Campo Grande neighborhood. The shooting occurred after the perpetrator suspected that the trafficker had sold him fake drugs. The police arrested the perpetrator. There were no fatalities.
