On 7 January 2026, near Tilin town (Tilin township, Gangaw district, Magway region), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped 80 bombs on the villages where the IDPs were staying using a Y-12 jet at around 10:50 am. A 60-year-old civilian man was killed and a woman and a 3-year-old girl were injured. 1 Fatality.
