On 7 January 2026, in Barcena, Guatemala, according to witnesses, two armed men on a motorcycle shot and killed a tuc tuc taxi driver (drive-by). Although the victim attempted to flee, the armed men chased and fired several shots at him. The investigators suspect that the attack might be linked to extortion. The identity of the perpetrators is unknown. 1 fatality.
