On 7 January 2026, in Salvador - Tancredo Neves (Bahia), two unidentified armed suspects shot and killed a woman in the Sao Goncalo neighbourhood. The suspects broke into the victim's house and fired against her, escaping afterwards. The victim's husband, who was also in the house, was not harmed. The authorship and motivations are unknown. 1 fatality.
