On 7 January 2026, government security forces (coded as SSPDF) clashed with SPLM/A-IO and NAS members near Yei-Morobo Road in Kilikili area, Gulumbi Payam (location coded to Ambo, the nearest known location in Kili-kili boma, Morobo County, Central Equatoria State). Government forces captured an opposition member. There were no casualties.
