On 6 January 2026, in Pauk Kan Bu Tar village (Wetlet township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military conducted three airstrikes with two jet fighters in the west of football field around 9:45 am. The airstrike killed 4 people including 3 women and a two-month old baby. One of them is a CDM teacher. 4 fatalities.
