On 6 January 2026, near Kun Thee Pin (Lay Ein Tan) village (Myingyan township, Myingyan district, Mandalay region), the combined troops of the One More Column (Myingyan District), the People's Defense Force - Myingyan District Battalion- 2, the Myingyan Moe Shey Dar Yan Guerrilla Force, the People's Defense Force - Myingyan Battalion - 9, the People's Defense Force - Yelekyun and the Mother's Dependable Person Guerrilla Force intercepted and attacked the Myanmar military column that advanced to Shwe Nyaung Pin checkpoint. 10 military soldiers were killed and 2 were injured. 10 fatalities.
