On 6 January 2026, 1 Ukrainian airplane-type drone attacked an unidentified location in the Yakovlevskiy district (coded as Yakovlevo, Belgorod). Between 5 January - 6 January, by using small arms, territorial defense regiment Orlan also intercepted 1 Ukrainian airplane-type drone over the Yakovlevskiy district. No casualties.
