On 6 January 2026, in Feira de Santana (Bahia), drug traffickers shot and injured a man in the Mangabeira neighbourhood. The suspects abducted the victim and took him to a remote location, where they fired against him and escaped afterwards. The authorship and motivations are unknown. There were no fatalities.
