Around 6 January 2026 (as reported), ENDF claimed to have clashed with OLF-OLA at an unspecified place in Illu Galan woreda (location coded to the admin center, Ejaji, West Shewa, Oromia). ENDF further claimed to have captured 23 OLF-OLA fighters, including a deputy commander of OLA's brigade, and seized various weapons and munitions. Casualties unknown.
