On 6 January 2026, armed members of the Chieng-Badeng/Badeng clan of the Bul Nuer community attacked the Bar clan of the Bul Nuer at an unspecified location in Wangbuor Payam (Mayom County, Unity State), resulting in the killing of 2 Bar clan members, while 3 others were injured. The incident created tension between the two groups. No further information.
