On 5 January 2026, in Na Bet village (Myaung township, Sagaing district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military conducted an airstrike using three gyrocopters and dropped two bombs around 10:30 am without an armed clash occurring. The airstrike killed two village residents, aged 60 and 35, who were from the same family, and damaged three houses. 2 fatalities.
