On 5 January 2026, police forces conducted a search and strike operation and killed a TTP militant in Wanda Khan Gul area in Lakki Marwat district (Lakki Marwat, KPK), following a TTP attack targeting a cement factory (coded separately). A police personnel was also wounded in the exchange of fire. Police claim the individual was responsible in the previous attack. The dead body of the militant was recovered after the operation. 1 fatality and 1 injured.
