On 5 January 2026, near Porus, Manchester, the police shot and killed four armed men during a clash in the St. Toolies area, near the Manchester/Clarendon border. According to the officers, as they arrived to a house during a security operation, a group of armed men exited a property with firearms in hand and challenged them, leading to a clash as they responded with gunfire. Three men were killed at the scene and a fourth one who managed to escape was killed moments later in the nearby Toll Gate area. Two firearms were seized. Relatives of one of the victims claimed that the man was not a gunman. 4 fatalities.
