On 5 January 2026, Anti-Balaka militia affiliated with the CPC militia led by 'General' Ndale clashed with Wagner Group and former ex-3R militia, coded as Black Russians in Mboula (Carnot, Mambere-Kadei). Casualties unknown. Several homes were hit by projectiles.
