On 5 January 2026, Hawiye-Habar Gedir-Saleban sub-clan militia clashed with Al Shabaab in Odin area, on the outskirts of Cada Kibir village (Cadaado, Galgaduud). The motive of the clash was due to an unknown dispute. Casualties unknown.
