On 4 January 2026, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and district police personnel killed three TTP militants during an intelligence-based operation in Darra Pegho Khel area Sarai Naurang tehsil (Lakki Marwat, KPK). A Kalashnikov, two 9mm pistols, two mobile phones and three cards belonging to the TTP were recovered. 3 fatalities.
