On 4 January 2026, between Pauk Taw and Ah Ga Ya Pyi Thit villages (coded as Pauk Taw) (Paungde township, Pyay district, Bago-West region), the People's Defense Force - Pyay District Battalion-3601 Company-5 attacked a column of about 40 Myanmar military soldiers from LIB-10 using mines at around 9:00 am. A military soldier was killed and 2 others were injured. 1 fatality.
