On 4 January 2026, armed youth suspected of being members of the Murle community from the Greater Pibor Administrative Area (GPAA) attacked individuals gathering building materials in a bush in the Boloch area of Nyandit Payam (location coded to Burmath, the nearest known location in Akobo County, Jonglei State), resulting in 1 injury. The victims are likely members of the Yoal subsection of the Mor Section of the Lou Nuer community, who live in the area. No further information.
