On 4 January 2026, in Guayaquil - Guayaquil - Febres Cordero (Guayas), two Los Lobos members moving on a motorcycle opened fire at a parked car in a drive-by shooting, killing one person and injuring two others at 28th and Garcia Giyena Streets, in the Portete district. One of the injured persons is a Venezuelan national. The attackers shouted 'Lobos Activos' and 'Death for those who collaborate with Cuyuyuy' after shooting and then fled. 1 fatality.
