On 3 January 2026, near Te Gyi village (Natmauk township, Magway district, Magway region), the People's Defense Force - Natmauk (PaKaPha) attacked a column of about 50 Myanmar military soldiers using mines at around 9:30 am. In response, the Myanmar military fired back. 3 military soldiers were killed and 6 others were injured. 3 fatalities.
