On 3 January 2026, in Yedashe township (Taungoo district, Bago-East region), a combined force of the People's Defense Force - Yedashe Battalion-3504 Company-2 and the Hta Naung Task Force Battalion-805 fired four 60mm heavy weapons at a column of about 100 Myanmar military troops coming from Tha Hpan Zin village when they arrived in an unidentified village. About 2 military soldiers were killed. 2 fatalities.
