On 3 January 2026, between Ma Gyi Tan and Let Wea villages (coded as Ma Gyi Tan) (Nyaung-U township, Nyaung-U district, Mandalay region), the Black Eagle PDF - Bagan intercepted and attacked a column of around 200 Myanmar military soldiers that advanced after looting properties in Let Wea village (coded separately). 7 military soldiers were killed and 5 military soldiers were injured. The PDF troops seized an energa grenade, two 40 mm heavy weapons, a grenade, 17 rounds of 5.56 ammunition, a G-3 ammunition and two mobile phones. 7 fatalities.
