On 3 January 2026, armed youth from the Ngok Dinka community, on reconnaissance, clashed with 'White Army' (Nuer ethnic militia) members, who were in the bushes for hunting and surveillance, at an unspecified location in Doma Payam (Ulang County, Upper Nile State), resulting in 2 fatalities. The 'White Army' carted away 3 AK-47 rifles from the Ngok Dinka.
