On 3 January 2026, Mayi Mayi (Biloze Bishambuke) clashed with CNPSC in Namisha (Fizi, Sud-Kivu), Namutugulu, and Fizi (coded separately) after members of CNPSC removed a toll barrier that had been illegally erected by some members of Biloze Bishambuke. 2-3 people were killed, including at least 1 armed man and 1 civilian (the motorcyclist who was transporting combatants). Residents fled toward Sebele and Ekyengya. It was unclear whether Mayi Mayi (Biloze Bishambuke) ambushed CNPSC. Houses were set on fire. 1 old man disappeared. 2 fatalities were split into 3 events, coded as 1.
