On 3 January 2026, in Tijuana, Baja California, during a police operation, municipal police forces clashed with three armed individuals in Colonia El Tecolote. The armed individuals were fleeing after shooting and injuring a private security man in front of El Sinaloense Bar in Fraccionamiento Jose Sandoval (coded separately). Three men were arrested. There were no casualties.
