Around 2 January 2026 (as reported), in a rural area of Miriti-Parana (Amazonas), in a joint operation, the Colombian Army, Navy, and Air Force clashed with members of the Jhonier Arenas FARC dissident front, killing three fighters, arresting four others, and rescuing three minors who had been recruited by the armed group. Troops also seized an M-60 machine gun, 11 long guns, one handgun, ammunition, and other war materials. 3 fatalities.
