On 1 January 2026, BLF militants ambushed a Security Forces (coded as military) convoy in Bazdad Pump area (Awaran, Balochistan). The attack involved an initial sniper strike followed by a subsequent ambush on a six-vehicle convoy near Kundor in the same area. BLF claim five military personnel were killed and three others were wounded. Fatalities uncorroborated with 5 fatalities coded and 3 injured.
