On 1 January 2026, in Pilar (Alagoas), unidentified armed suspects exchanged fire. Armed men arrived at a location in a vehicle and fired against a group, who fired back. An armed clash took place and three people were shot and killed. Drugs and ammunition were found with the body of one of the killed men. Two other people were injured. The authorship and motivations are unknown. 3 fatalities.
