In Mandalay Region’s Mogok city, two people were killed when a drone bomb exploded near the Sit Tan Kone junction, and junta troops have been stopping motorcyclists to inspect them and extorting sums in the hundreds of thousands of kyats, according to local residents who spoke to Yangon Khit Thit News.

At around 9 a.m. on January 22, drone bombs fell and exploded near Sit Tan Kone junction in Mogok, killing two people. The explosion occurred very close to a branch of the Myanmar Economic Bank, where junta soldiers are stationed, according to reports.
