In Karen State’s Kya In Seik Kyi Township, the military shot and killed a woman who was tapping rubber, according to a statement from the Phoenix – Special Warfare Force group.

At around 6:42 p.m. on January 20, soldiers from Infantry Battalion 284 arrived at a rubber plantation in Wa Boke Kone village, Aye Chan Thaya ward, and shot dead Ma Khine Wint, aged 41, while she was tapping rubber, according to reports.
