According to a statement released by the Karen National Union (KNU), three civilians were killed and three others were injured in attacks involving artillery fire, drones, and gyrocopters by junta forces in Hpa-an District, KNU Brigade 3 territory.

The KNU reported that on January 20, junta forces conducted a drone bombing on the area of Mane in Mone Township, Hpa-an District. The attack killed U Me Lone (aged 54) and Kyaw Min Htet (aged 28), while 24-year-old Ma May Kavya and 13-year-old Min Khant were injured. Both victims were residents of Kap Gyi Seik village.
