In Mandalay Region’s Mogok city, three men were killed yesterday (January 22) when artillery shells exploded near the local junta administration office and a police station, according to residents.

The explosion occurred at around 11 a.m. near the combined administration office and police station on Bo Kone Road in eastern Mogok. Residents said that three men — including one who had been sitting at a nearby tea shop — were killed in the blast.
