In Kyauktaw Township, Rakhine State, an Arakan Army (AA) detention camp was hit by an airstrike, killing 21 people — including military family members and prisoners — and injuring 30 others, according to local sources.
The strike occurred at around 7:24 p.m. and 7:28 p.m. on January 20, when two fighter jets dropped four bombs on the camp located west of Chaungtu Village, near the border between Kyauktaw and Ponngyun townships.
