A mine was planted against military commission soldiers on the Monywa-Chaung U road in Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, killing one military commission soldier and injuring four others, according to the Monywa Dynamite – STF group.

Yesterday (January 21), about 20 members of the Military Commission who had come from the Mongkyul Tanpo Gate to collect tribute and clear mines were attacked with two mines at 12:45 p.m.
