To the south, Russian forces continued making progress on the tactical heights east of Lyman, and captured additional positions in two different treelines.

Meanwhile, assault groups began infiltrating further south from the agricultural complex north of Lyman, reaching Slobozhanska Street. They were also able to recapture a number of positions in the treelines north of the Masliakivka District of Lyman.
