A military base belonging to Light Infantry Battalion 104 in Launglon Township, Tanintharyi Region, was attacked with drones by resistance forces, according to a local revolutionary source. The junta has reportedly reinforced its troops in the area to secure conditions for conducting the upcoming election, intensifying the military situation.
The drone attack occurred in the morning of January 19, targeting Battalion 104 stationed along the Dawei–Maungmagan road. The resistance forces carried out a series of bomb drops from drones, though the number of casualties on the junta’s side has not yet been confirmed.
