On 31 December 2025, in Ma Gyi Taw village (coded as Salin) (Salin township, Minbu district, Magway region), the Myanmar military troops stationed near Nwe Ta Mei village fired heavy weapons indiscriminately around 8 pm, which fell and exploded into the village and killed a 60-year-old woman. 5 civilians were also injured.
