On 31 December 2025, near Nyaung Kone village (Myaing township, Pakokku district, Magway region), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes three times and dropped four 500-lb bombs in the Waing Lay restaurant without an armed clash occurring around 4 pm. Khit Thit Media and Shwe Phee Myay News Agency reported that 2 civilians were killed and 5 were injured. 3 houses were also destroyed. Democratic Voice of Burma reported that a civilian was killed and 5 were injured. Fatalities coded as 1, using the lowest estimate.
