On 31 December 2025, members of the Jalwau section of the Rek Dinka community from Warrap State's Tonj East County clashed with members of the Gok/Gak Dinka in Tiap Tiap, Citcok Payam (Cueibet, Lakes), resulting in 2 fatalities. The Jalwau members attempted incursions into youth-deserted cattle camps in the area but were repelled.
