On 31 December 2025, clashes between SAF, backed by Sudanese Popular Resistance and other unspecified armed groups (coded as unidentified armed group), and RSF continued in Kazgil (Sheikan, North Kordofan), with SAF drone strikes being reported and SAF regaining control of the area for a few hours before RSF gained control again. SAF claimed it killed a large number of SAF in Al Hamadi, Kazgil, Raiash, Habila, and Dibebad on 31 December.
