On 31 December 2025, a Moroccan Royal Armed Forces drone strike targeted and destroyed a Polisario Front vehicle in the Tazagzag area east of the Sand Wall, after Polisario elements crossed Mauritanian territory. Polisario front sources claimed a civilian vehicle was struck without causing casualties. Unknown casualties.
