On 30 December 2025, in Sezang village (Tedim township, Falam district, Chin state), the Myanmar military (IB-269) on Mualtuk hill in Tedim town fired heavy weapons into the village at around 4:30 pm, without an armed clash occurring. An 8-year-old civilian boy was killed and a 14-year-old child was injured. 1 fatality.
