On 30 December 2025, near Seikphyu town (Seikphyu township, Pakokku district, Magway region), the combined troops of the Pakokku District Local People Defence Force, the People's Defense Force - Pakokku District Battalion - 4, Battalion - 11 and Battalion - 19 attacked 35 Myanmar military troops in an armored truck and a vehicle that advanced to escort the military truck convoy that came from Seikphyu town. 16 military soldiers were killed and many were injured and the PDF troops seized eight weapons and ammunition and captured a military soldier as a prisoner of war. Two military vehicles were destroyed. A member of the combined troops was also killed. 17 fatalities.
