On 30 December 2025, in Oe May Tu village (Yedashe township, Taungoo district, Bago-East region), the combined troops of the Nay Pyi Taw PDF - Battalion 805, the People's Defense Force - Nay Pyi Taw Battalion - 901, the Northern Thandaung Defense Force and the People's Defense Force - Det Khi Na Thi Ri (PaKaPha) attacked around 60 Myanmar military soldiers stationed in the village and claimed to have taken control of the village. During the armed clash, the military fired heavy weapons. Khit Thit Media reported that 5 military soldiers were killed and the combined troops captured 3 military soldiers as prisoners of war and seized weapons and ammunition. A member of the combined troops was also killed and five were injured. Ministry of Defense - NUG reported that around 20 military soldiers were killed and 3 were captured as prisoners of war. A member of the PDF was killed and 5 were injured. Total fatalities coded as 6, using the lowest estimate.
